
This is Malaysia's only kintsugi course taught using an authentic Japanese system.
In this course, students will learn about the functions of different types of lacquer, every detailed step of the process, and hands-on techniques from start to finish in repairing and applying kintsugi.
This workshop offers great benefits to students, with guided instruction at every stage. Each broken item is given a new life with a unique kind of beauty.

About the Program:
The curriculum integrates UNESCO’s heritage conservation principles, aligning with modern international regulations for artifact preservation. It aims to establish a state-of-the-art restoration facility in Taiwan, becoming a hub for professional exchanges in Asia. Through degree programs and courses in cultural heritage conservation, the program continues to nurture professionals and modernize conservation practices.
